Second Workshop: Media Reporting on PWD



Center for Monitoring and Activism  - CEMA organized a second workshop "Reporting on PWD in Local Media" within the project of the same name financially supported by the City of Cacak.

The aim of the project is to improve the professional and ethical standards of local media in reporting on persons with disabilities.

 

The key topics of this workshop were:

  • Cooperation of competent authorities and institutions with the media in the field of rights protection of persons with disabilities;  
  • How to create a story that will interest the audience without "slipping" into sensationalism?  
  • How to take a stand in a story that deals with PWD?
  • The psychological consequences of the abuse of marginalized groups in the media.
